Benjamin John Ernest BEAVAN was born in Sydney in 1881

His parents were John & Sarah BEAVAN

He married Esther CANVIN in NSW in 1906 - 3 known children, Ernest, Hector & Harold

He enlisted & served during WW1 under the alias of Ernest WHITING

Benjamin was Killed in Action in France on 5th September, 1916
