He married Alice Mary Lipscombe aged 32 at the Parish Church, Sutton-at-Hone, near Dartford, Kent England. She was the daughter of William Lipscombe, Paper Maker, and Michael was the son of the late John Coleman, Engineer. The marriage took place on 7th November 1918.
