Trooper MurdocK McDonald

Trooper Murdock (please note spelling of Murdock not Murdoch) Service No 724, 3rd Light Horse.
He lived at Warooka, Yorke Peninsular, South Australia prior to enlisting on the 23/11/1914. He and his older brother Alfred embarked from Melbourne aboard the SS Hessen on 2/2/1915. He arrived at the Dardenelles on 6/8/195 and joined the unit at Gallipoli on 6/8/1915. He embarked from Mudros to Alexandria on 26/12/1915 joining the Western Front Force on the 29/1915.
He was wounded on the 1/61916 and admitted to Port Said Hospital on 7/7/1916.
