Son of Harriet Mercy and Henry Coe of Beaufort. Brother of 440 Pte Albert Edward Coe, 52nd Btn, killed in action, 7 June 1917, . Ellen Maud Mary Coe, Rhoda Pauline Coe. Husband of Minnie Lillian Elizabeth Coe (nee Everett). Arthur and Minnie married on 26 May 1920 in the Methodist Church, Beaufort. Father of Albert, Ina, Shirley and John Coe.
