Son of Edward and Catherine Daniel of Kaban via Herberton, QLD. Brother of Leonard Lewis Daniel who returned to Australia on 5 July 1915 having served with the 15th Battalion and Roland Edgar Daniel who returned to Australia on 15 June 1919 having served with the 49th Battalion
