Son of William Henry Vaughan and Georgina Rachel Prosting of Lunawanna, Tasmania
Commenced return to Australia on 21 July 1919 aboard SS Niagara disembarking on 11 October 1919 at Sydney for onward travel to Hobart.
Medals: British War Medal, Vtctory Medal
On 10 August 1919 he was granted twelve months leave to pig raising methods in America.
