Husband of Mary Harriet T.  Hickey nee Brown of corner of Fitzroy and Edinborough Roads, Marrickville, NSW. Robert and Harriet married during 1911c at Sydney, NSW

Commenced return to Australia on 25 November 1917 aboard HT Ormonde. On 8 January 1918 he transhipped to HT Medic to complete return to Australia where he disembarked on 22 January 1918 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney
