Details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published in 2017 - refer to page 265. Prior to the war he was a drover and carter of Eden NSW. He enlisted 12th Sept 1916 aged 21 years. He served with the 20th Infantry Battalion. He survived the war and departed the UK for home 10th Apr 1919.
