CAPTAIN, FRED R RANSON (missing). Another old Fort Street boy, Fred Ranson has been reported among the missing. He spent several years at the School, and left to take up a position in the Department of Lands, where he rose to he a draughtsman. He is the fourth son of Mr. K. S. Ranson, of Strathlield. Another brother—also a Fort Street boy—J. F. Ranson. B.A. LL.B. is also on active service.
