Son of Patrick and Jane O'DEA (nee MANNING), Yorketown, South Australia

LATE LANCE-CORPORAL D.J.O'DEA
Educated at the Christian Brothers' College Wakefield street. He enlisted on May 23, 1916, sailed for England on October 20, 1916, and landed there on  December 23. 1916. He went to France on September 6, 1917. He was of a very bright and cheerful disposition and was loved by all who knew him.
