The following information is provided by Australian Nurses in World War 1 -

World War 1 Service: Flora enlisted as a Sister with the Australian Army Nursing Service on 21.11.1914 and embarked on 28.11.1914 from Sydney per "Kyarra".  Service in Lemnos, Egypt, in the field in France and England.  Returned to Australia on 14.2.1918 per "Persic" On Duty.  Appointment Terminated 28.2.1918.  Re-enlisted 4.2.1919 and Re-embarked 5.4.1919 per "Melusia". Service as Matron at Namanula Hospital, Rabaul, New Guinea

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal
