Clifford Tony Wilson was born in 1891 at Point Mcleay (Raukkan) and died in 1955 in Adelaide. Clifford, known as Tony, was the sixth son of John and Eliza Wilson . He married Ada Varcoe in 1911 and they had two children, Myra and Clifford Jnr, before he enlisted in August 1916. He was wounded in action in June 1918, and was discharged in December 1919. His final rank was private, his service number was 6177 and was in the first world war from 1914-1918. Clifford tony Wilson was in the unit 27th Australian infantry battalion.
