Son of John and Catherine Grice of 97 Ayscough Street, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England
On 17 November 1915 he was recommended for the Nedaille Militaire for action between September and November for general good service in charge of the mortar and excellent work as a platoon commander in the absence of an officer. Not awarded
