15 Feb 1942: Imprisoned Fed was captured in the Fall of Singapore, then languished in Changi Gaol until moved first to Burma then Thailand as a POW, and was forced to work on the Burma-Thai railway then to help build the Patburi (aka Petchaburi)aerodrome.
