Alfred Edward ROBERTSON known as Ted was born in 1894 in Warren NSW. Alfred was the 14th child of David Marshall ROBERTSON and Grace Elizabeth ROBERTSON nee WARD. Alfred's father David was born in Scotland in 1849 and migrated in 1849 with his parents.
Alfred enlisted in Dubbo (NSW) on 25th April 1916.
Alfred was reported as wounded on 29th May 1917 in the Dubbo Dispatch and Wellington Independent (page 1 - Paper on TROVE).
Alfred survived the war and returned to Australia on the "Katoomba" on 8th August 1919.
