10 Oct 1917: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 1982, 30th Infantry Battalion, Shrapnel wound in left elbow. Admitted 3rd Aust. Field Ambulance, transferred to 3rd Canadian General Hospital. On 13/10/1917 he was invalided to England and transferred to Brook War Hospital.
