Michael PRAP was born in Warsaw, Poland, Russie on 7th April, 1890 - fathers name unknown and his mother was Josephine
He first arrived in Australia from Washington, USA on 13th March, 1917 as a Seaman from the ship Golden Shores which arrived in Port Pirie, SA
He enlisted on 21st March, 1917 in Port Pirie, SA and embarked on 23rd June 1917 from Adelaide on the HMAT Borda with the 43rd Infantry Battalion, 7th Reinforcements
He was wounded twice and was invalided to England where he had his leg amputated due to injuiries and was eventually returned to Australia on 5th January 1919 on the ship Kanowna and was discharged on 9th July, 1919
Michael died in Adelaide on 20th January, 1965 and is buried in the West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide
