LANCE-CORPORAL. R. L. GRAUER Mrs. A. W. Grauer, of Allansford, has received word from the Base Records Office, Melbourne, stating that their son, Lance.-Corpl. R. L. Grauer, has been reported dangerously ill, and was admitted to the King George Military Hospital, London on the 5th April, suffering from severe gunshot wounds in the left arm and right
foot. - May 1918

The many friends of Private Roy Grauer, second son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Grauer. were very pleased at his safe arrival home from the front. He had been on active service for three  years. was wounded in the arm and foot and invalided home. - September 1918

A pretty wedding was celebrated at Morwell last week. The contracting parties were Mr Roy Grauer, a returned soldier, of WarrnamBool, and Miss Florrie Foster, daughter of Mrs Somerfield, of Hazelwood. The wedding took place in the Church of England, and the Rev. Mr Smith was the officiating clergyman; Miss Somerfield (step-sister of the bride) was the bridesmaid, and Mr Sam Young (cousin) best man.
After the cefemony the wedding breakfast was held at O'Rourke's coffee palace, when the usual toasts were honored. - Feb 1920
