WEDDING BELLS.
GUNN—MEREDITH.
Holy Trinity Church was the scene
of a pretty wedding on October 21,
when Ivy Florence, only daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. G. S. Gunn, of Pasco-
street, and Walter Henry Meredith
(late 21st Batt., A.I.F.), eldest son of
Mr. and Mrs. H. Meredith, of Tal-
langatta, were joined in the holy
bonds of matrimony. The ceremony
was performed by the Rev. C. Hudson.
The bride, who was given away by her
father, looked charming in her dress of
crepe de chine, daintily trimmed with
pearls. She also wore court train and
the customary wreath and veil, and
carried a shower bouquet of white
azaleas and fern. She was attended
by two bridesmaids—Miss Elsie Mere-
dith (sister of bridegroom) and Miss
Mary Brotheridge (cousin of bride).
They wore pretty white voile frocks,
trimmed with Val. lace, and white
hats relieved with pink, and carried
pink bouquets. Mr. G. Gunn (junr.)
acted as best man and Mr. H. Gunn
as groomsman. The bride's mother,
who wore a black silk costume and
a hat to match, received about 60
guests at the Temperance Hall, where
the wedding breakfast was held. The
bridegroom's mother was dressed in
a black silk costume, and wore a
black hat. The bride travelled in a
navy twill costume, and wore a white
crepe de chine hat. The presents were
both numerous and costly.
