Husband of Eva O'Neill nee Samwell of Victoria Parade, East Melbourne, Victoria. Charles and Eva married in Sydney during 1901c.

Commenced return to Australia on 3 March 1916 aboard HT Argylllshire disembarking on 30 March 1916

Having served with the NSW police, at the Boer and at Gallipoli, Sergeant C. T. O'Neill became the manager of equestrian and acrobatic shows which toured Australia.
