Known as Andrew Masson he enlisted in 1915 at the age of 16, being born in 1899.
His three brothers died serving during late 1918, Henry and Douglas Masson both killed in action at Peronne on the 1 September 1918 and Albert Masson died of influenza in France on the 8 December 1918.
