Son of Charles Graham Ogden and Florence Ogden nee Tyson of Perth Street, West Guildford, WA formerly of South Yarra, Victoria.
Brother of Albert Lance Ogden who served with the 10th Light Horse Regiment and discharged in London, England where he died in the 1960s.
Errol returned to Australia mid 1915 for change then returned with reinforcements to the Western Front and a new service number of 3080.
Commenced return to Australia on 28 March 1919 aboard HT Port MacQuarie disembarking on 13 May 1919
