Son of Herbert Graham O'Donahoo and Agnes Ochterlong O'Donahoo nee Kemp of Breen Street, Bendigo, Victoria.
Brother of Allan Kemp O'Donahoo who returned to Australia on 22 May 1919 having served with the 7th Battalion; Arthur Herbert Graham O'Donahoo who was killed in action on 10 August 1915 while serving with the 6th Battalion and is buried in the Shrapnel Valley Cemetery, Plot 11, Row A, Grave 63.
Commenced return to Australia on 8 May 1918 aboard HT Themistocles disembarking on 19 June 1918 having had his left leg amputated.
