Born at Willunga in 1895, Oscar enlisrted at Lion Mill, Western Australia on 3 March 1915 with the 28th Battalion, C Company. He was killed in action on 30 October 1917 at Ypres Belgium and was buried in the Menin Road South Military Cemetary (Plot 111 Row B Grave No. 33). Medals: 1913-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal and Memorial Plaque and Scroll.
