Ernest Alfred Knight HUDSON was born in Erskineville, Sydney, NSW on 27th October, 1872

His parents were Henry HUDSON and Amelia KNIGHT who married in 1868

Ernest married May D. TALBOT in Sydney in 1900 - 5 known children

"...Major E A K Hudson, of the 1st Australian Light Horse Brigade and his horse Tango, at Deiran on the Philistine Plain. Maj Hudson was awarded a Distinguished Service Order in April 1918. He died of pneumonia in Palestine on 27 October 1918." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
