Son of Stephan D. Organ and Mary Organ of Dunedoo, NSW.

Brother of Sylvester Organ who was killed in action while serving with the 53rd Battalion and has no known grave. His name appears on Menin Gate, Ypres

Deserted from HT Clan McGillivray at Fremantle, WA on 22 May 1917 and was never apprehended.

Not eligibe for medal due to desertion

During 1927c James married Marion M. English in Condoblin, NSW
