Son of Thomas Quinn and Catherine Quinn of 'Owengap', Scone, NSW
Brother of Joseph James Quinn who returned to Australia on 3 January 1918 having served with the 54th Battalion and Thomas Regis Quinn who returned to Australia on 25 October 1917 having served with the 14th Field Ambulance.
Returned to Australia on 2 September 1916 aboard HS Ascanius
