Son of Robert Fish and Hannah Fish nee Taylor of 4 George Street, East Melbourne, Victoria. Brother of George Henry Fish who returned to Australia on 27 August 1917 haviing served with the 14th Battalion
Commenced return to Australia on 19 June 1919 aboard HT Militiades disembarking on the 5 August 1919
