Son of Charles Henry and Amy Blackmore; husband of Isabel Jean Blackmore, of Welland, South Australia.

Airman Presumed Dead After Flying Accident
Mrs. F. Blackmore, of Frederick street, Welland, has been informed that her husband. Sgt. F. L. H. (Frank) Blackmore, previously reported missing on September 18, 1945, is now presumed to have lost his life in an air craft accident between Biak and Merauke on that date. Sgt. Black more served in the RAAF for four years, and before his enlistment was employed by A. W Sandford & Co. and Henry Berry and Co. He was a player for West Torrens Lacrosse Club. He was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H.  Blackmore. of Bertie street, West Hindmarsh. Sgt. Blackmore leaves a young son.
