Alex shortly after returning from WW2 married Iris Price and was a loving father to Caroline 1946 stilborn , Linda,1948. Kathleen and Marion 1951 (twins) they lived in Coburg until Linda was 6 and then moved to Boronia where they lived for many years. He loved all things motorbikes, cars, baots and caravans and had many happy holidays with his 3 girls. he was a very clever and inventive man and taught his daughters well, he talked about the war to the girls but left out the most horific things he also made some lifelong friends in his unit the families are still in contact even though he has left us we all have that link from our dads all gone now and missed every day. In 2015 He married Glenda with her three children Rod, Daryl and Sandra who also had a great relationship with him until his passing
