Private Henry Edward Worsfold (Service No:WX14103) initially served (Private; Service No:WX6596) in the Army (2 and 13 Training Battalions) from 6 July 1940 to 7 April 1941. On 11 June 1941 he re-enlisted and was atatched to 101 General Transport Coy on 26 September 1941 when he embarked from Fremantle for the Middle East, embarking for the RTA on 18 February 1943. Private Worsfold was Discharged on 9 October 1945.

Born in 1912 in Kent in England, Harry was the youngest of three children (and only son) of Henry Edward Worsfold Snr (b1878 in Essex, England) and Fanny Alice Brown (b1878 in Middlesex, England). Henry (a Roadman) and Fanny married in 1905 in Kent, where they settled and raised their family and Henry worked as a Roadman/Labourer. In 1915 Henry enlisted in the British Army (Private; Regimental No:8079) and served with the Royal West Kent Regiment until 1916. Henry and Alice immigrated in 1921, arriving in Fremantle WA with their three children on board the Orsova. The family settled at Mallyup nr Blackwood in WA where Henry was an Orchardist (he had stated he had farming experience in his immigration papers). By the mid to late 1920s the family had moved to Wandering where Henry worked as a Farm Hand before settling in Perth in the late 1930s.

Harry worked as a Farm Hand and Truck Driver and in 1936 in Perth married Sarah Alice May Walker (b1917 in Perth, WA). Harry and Sarah divorced in 1943, and in 1946 Harry remarried to Lucille (Lucy) Margaret Goodridge (nee Fyfe; b1914 in Perth, WA). Following his Discharge, Harry worked as a Labourer at Picton Junction via Bunbury, a Truck Driver in Perth and Woorooloo, a Storeman in Narrogin and Fettler in Kalgoorlie. Following Lucy's death, Harry remarried in 1975 to Dorothy Rose. Harry died in 1991
