6 May 1917:	Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 6226, 4th Infantry Battalion, Merris (France), On the 6th May 1917 Private 6226 Herbert Ralton Bryant was wounded in action in the Field in France. He received a Severe Gunshot Wound (GSW) to his left leg & thigh, which badly Fractured his left leg.
13 May 1918:	Discharged AIF WW1, Private, 6226, 4th Infantry Battalion, On the 13th May 1918 Private 6226 Herbert Ralton Bryant was discharged from the AIF as Medically Unfit due to the damaged caused by a Severe Gunshot Wound (GSW) to his left leg & thigh.
