Next of kin was given as his brother of Leonard Simmonds of 9 Union Street, Richmond, Victoria and also frother of Henry Ernest Simmonds.

Son of George and Florence Simmonds who had both deceased prior to Reginald enlisting.

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

8 May 1920 - Leonard Simmonds wrote to Base Records asking about what age Reginald had give at the time of his enlistment and for the name of the person who signed the consent form for Reginald to enlist. In another document it seems that Reginald's family were unaware that he had enlisted until he had been killed
