"The funeral will take place to-day at New Cheltenham cemetery of Mr. A. R. Brlerty, who died on Friday at his home to Llnacre-road, Hampton (says Melbourne 'Sun,' April 8). Born in Bulloo, South-Western Queensland, Mr. Brierty saw service at Gallipoli with the 11th Light Horse and was awarded the Military Cross. After being invalided home he became Inspector of Soldier Settlements, and then joined the Crown Lands Office in Queensland. He was later with Philips Lamps Ltd.
