HARRY ROBINSON McKINLEY who died of wounds in France on 11th April 1917 was the only son of Mr. Henry McKinley. He was born in 1885 and was at the School from 1901 to 1903. He was a Lieutenant in the Cadet Corps in 1902. On leaving School he went into business in Melbourne.

He enlisted on 2nd June 1915 as a Private and received his commission on 8th November 1915 before embarkation. He embarked on 18th February, arrived in France on 14th June and was taken on strength of the 14th Battalion on 1st September 1916. He was promoted to Lieutenant on 1st January 1917 and was fatally wounded at Bapaume on 11th April 1917.

He was buried in Bapaume Australian Cemetery.
