Son of John Beckley Vincent and Mary Esther Vincent nee Carson of Geraldton, WA.

On 3 July 1918 Henry married Mary Kathleen Ball in the Church of Sacred Heart, Tisbury, England. Catholic Priest Francis Burdett officiated. 

Commenced return to Australia on 7 November 1919  aboard HT Marathon disembarking on 19 December 1919.
