Ernest said his parents were both deceased due to a drowning incident and that he had no siblings. On page 41 of his Attestation Paper his full name is given as Ernest George Montgomery Otis.
Next of kin given as a nurse J. Stockholm of Neutral Bay, NSW. Another contact was Marton Lard(Ward) of the Granville Cottage Hospital, Granville, NSW
