Port Lincoln Man Missing
PORT LINCOLN, October 17.
The sudden disappearance of Robert Charles Snowdon. 47, manager of the Port Lincoln Dairy Produce Co., has resulted in an intensive search by local police and a large number of civilians during the past two days. Snowdon was last seen walking along Liverpool street, Port Lincoln, about 8 am on Friday. Since then he has not been seen. At the time of his disappearance, Snowdon was wearing grey flannel trousers, a blue serge coat with white pencil stripe, and a grey felt hat. On Saturday and Sunday local police officers and about 70 volunteers, under the direction of Sergeant A. G. Ewens, conducted an intensive search of the scrub, foreshore, and rocks round Port Lincoln, without finding any trace of the missing man. The search was continued today.
The missing man is about 5 feet 10 inches in height, of pale complexion,and has light brown hair. He is clean shaven, and has blue eyes. Any person knowing his whereabouts is asked to communicate with the Port Lincoln police.

PORT LINCOLN. Tuesday. No clue has yet come to hand as to the where abouts of Mr. Robert Charles Snowdon, 47, of Port Lincoln, who has been missing since Friday morning in spite of an intensive search conducted by the local police and a large number of towns people. The missing man was carrying a .22 bore rifle, which he borrowed early on Friday morning. Mr. Snowdon had suffered from headaches and sleeplessness of late.
He is manager of the Port Lincoln Dairy Produce Co., a subsidiary company of A. W Sandford & Co.. Ltd., Adelaide. and, on the morning of his disappearance directors of the company arrived at Port Lincoln. Having arranged to meet them at the office later that morning, Mr. Snowdon returned home for breakfast and then left for the office but did not turn up. A systematic search of the thick scrub which abounds near Port Lincoln has been carried out as well as a search round the rocks and foreshore of the town.

Missing Pt. Lincoln Man
The body of Robert Charles Snowdon, 47, of Port Lincoln, who has been missing since Friday morning of last week, was found on Thursday to the scrub off Edinburgh street,  Kirton Point. The discovery was made by Mr. Walter Dugan. The Port Lincoln police were notified, and Sergt. A. G. Ewens and Detective T. Miller visited the scene. The body was lying on  the ground with a small bore rifle between the legs, and a wound in the forehead.
It was evident that Snowdon had been dead for several days. The police have prepared a report for the Coroner (Mr. E. A. Broadbent).
