Son of Thomas Henry O'Keeffe and Ellen O'Keeffe      nee Higgins of Tootha, Walgett, NSW

Brother of Sidney Charles O'Keeffe who was killed in action on 9 August 1916 while serving with the 15th Battalion and has no known grave. His name appears on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial and William Alymer Campbell O'Keeffe who returned to Australia on 4 July 1919 having served with the 12th Field Artillery Brigade
