On Monday the Alexander Hall was quite inadequate to hold the attendance at the welcome home tendered to a number of returned soldiers. The following returned men were on the platform:- Captain B. G. White, Lieutenants K. McConnel and H. F. W. Marson, Q.M.S. Stan. Thomas, Corporals H. A. Walter, Ben Lucas, J. Fuge, A. Wirth. Privates S. A. Parsons, S. Eastell. Collins, Peters, Hard. E. Webber, L. Mackaway, Chas. Little, D. McDonald, A. Simpson, F. Porter, and F. McGreevy. Mr. W. R. Butler, chairman of Esk Shire Council, was in the chair.
