Son of John and Charlotte HAIG, Shirley, Victoria

Corporal R.W. Haig, of Shirley, is now reported to have been killed in action in Frnace on 3rd May 1917.  The deceased has been missing for nine months.  He enlisted over two years ago, and is the son of Mr. John Haig.  The late Corporal Haig was well known and greatly respected in the district.
