Son of John Andrew Walker and Mary Jane Walker (nee Venus) of 117 Keightly Road, Subiaco, WA formerly of Papanyinging, WA. Brother of Thomas Phillip Walker who returned to Australia on 17 November 1918 having served with the 11th Battalion. Thomas died on 9 April 1919 and is buried in the Karrakatta Cemetery, WA.
