Enlisted 8 Feb 1915 22nd Inf Bn AIF. Died of wounds aboard hospital ship 'Maheno' 18 Sep 1915. Buried at sea off ANZAC Cove. 'Maheno' now a rusting wreck on Low Water Mark along east coast Fraser Island, Queensland.
