Burton is an alternative name for Burton upon Trent and it spans the boundaries of the counties of Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
He is remembered on the Anslow War Memorial; Anslow is a village and civil parish in the East Staffordshire district of Staffordshire, about three miles north-west of Burton upon Trent. The war memorial and roll of honour are to be found on a [weathered] plaque on the outside wall at the east end of the Holy Trinity Church.
