Husband of Charlotte De Villiers nee Armstrong of Ashmore Street, Erskinville, NSW later of Willoughby Street, Milson's Point, NSW. Ernest and Charlotte married in Newtown, NSW during 1912c
Commenced return to Australia on 25 January 1919 aboard HT Ceramic disembarking on 14 March 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.
