    Returned to Australia, 1st time, 1 October 1915 aboard HT Euripides due to a hernia he later returnde to England on 29 January 1917 aboard HT Beltana with the Australian Army Service Corps

    Commenced return to Australia on 15 June 1919 aboard HT Swakopmund disembarking on 2 August 1919 at Sydney for onward travel to Brisbane
