Charles Lucien Miles SHOPPEE was born in Bembridge, Isle of Wight, UK on 26th September, 1918
His parents were Lionel Conrad SHOPPEE (Squadron Leader with RAF) & Hilda Gifford TAIT who married in All Saints Church, East Cowton, North Allerton, Yorks on 5th September, 1917
He married Margaret Mary RANKIN in St Marys Cathedral in Sydney on 6th October, 1944
Charles died on 7th June 1989, late of Toorak in Victoria and is buried in the Springvale Botanical Cemetery
