The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to page 265. Prior to the war he was a labourer of Hay NSW. He enlisted 10th Jan 1917 aged 22 years. He served with 18th Infantry Battalion, and earned a Military Medal for his activities during the war. He survived the war, and departed the UK for home 22nd Sep 1919.
