Son of Alexander THOMSON and Margaret Jane nee JOLLY of Yorketown, SA
Mr. W. R. Thomson, of the firm of Murray and Thompson, died on Sunday, Jnly 5, at the Myrtle Bank Hospital. The late Mr. Thomson was a returned soldier and suffered from gas poisoning. He was 30 years of age and was a son of Mr. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Thomson, of Yorketown. He left a widow but no children. Their only child died a few months ago. The remains were brought overland by Mr. G. H. Riddle on Monday. The funeral took place at Pink Lake Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon and was largely attended, including a number of lodge brethren from the Rechabite and R.A.O.B. Lodges.
The Rev. W. G. Clarke conducted the burial service. The lodge services were read by Mr. Clive Lloyd for the Rechabites and Mr. J. O'Leary for the Buffaloes.
