Son of George Angel James Vidler and Matilda Vidler nee Law of Zillmere, Brisbane, QLD formerly of Goulburn, NSW.
Brother of Harrold Ernest Vidler who returned to Australia during February 1919 having served with the Camel Corps plus time as a prisoner of war.
Commenced return to Australia on 2 January 1919 aboard HT Berrima disembarking on 17 February 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane, QLD
